Drivers

• A valid driver's license is required with atleast two (2) years driving expereience

• Only the driver listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle

• The rental agreement has to be signed prior to care keys being released

Payments

• A 50% down-payment in cash or cheque is required at the time of pickup unless prior alternative arrangments have been made

• Returning the vehicle after the agreed time incurrs a late penalty fee

• The vehicle has to be returned with atleast the amount of gas it is rented out with

Rental Extensions

Should the renter wish to keep the vehicle for a period longer than originally set out in the rental agreement, the renter must first contact Caribuni as it will require coming in person to a Caribuni office location to put this in writing where possible.

All vehicle extensions will require full payment of any outstanding balances and a new contract issued.  Failure to comply to any of the above will attract a charge of ZMK300 per day in addition to the prevailing daily rate.

Renter Obligation

The renter is expected to use the vehicle in a responsible manner and in particular, only for the purposes for which it is intended. This means primarily carrying passengers other than for hire and reward. In particular, you must not use the vehicle under any of the following conditions or for any of the following purposes:

• giving driving lessons

• pushing or towing another vehicle 

• intentionally committing any offence e.g. failure to utilize seat belts or occupant restraint system

• transportation of live animals (with the exception of domestic pets)

• transportation of inflammable or dangerous goods, as well as toxic, corrosive, radioactive or other harmful substances,
